Bungie Day Update

About 1 hour ago, Bungie announced that today, just today, they will be giving out flames for your armor. I'm not sure if recon comes with the deal, but you do get flames for Bungie day.

Well, it's Bungie day today! Get ready for action packed, super Bungie fun! I'll keep you posted all day long with the latest Bungie day news. Now, this morning, on Bungie.net, they showed the new Red vs. Blue which shows off tons of new Halo Reach stuff. You can watch it here. Now that you have the link, I can tell you my analysis.

1. The new hornet at 1:26
2. Remake of Blood Gulch from the first Halo
3. New assassination technique at 2:26
4. Two new warthogs at 2:41
5. New armor ability - Holograph at 3:28
6. Ok, this part is very contrivesial. At 4:25 sarge appears to be flying with the flag. If you look closely at 4:35, you can see his shotgun out with the flag. This means that flying with the flag is either fake or the shotgun is a glitch.
Can't wait to see what comes next!

The double EXP play list, Team throwback, has begun for the next four days. It features Multi-Flag CTF, One-Flag CTF, and some others. It's usually filled with newbies, so the competition is anything but fierce. Get on if you don't want to get owned!

Prepare to Drop playlist is live!

A few days ago bungie flipped the switch for the Double EXP weekend playlist, Prepare to drop. It's a mix of slayer aand VIP. Headshots will kill the fastest, so don't use your SMG. Health is lower, so one grenade kills you. Carbines are one of the other helpful items you can find areound the maps while playing Prepare to Drop. Better than your magnum by a mile. Enjoy!

Beta was a blast, now the wait for a couple months.
