Bungie weekly update

This weekly update is jam-packed with information about Forge. A lot of questions were answers, but even more were created. In the ViDoc that Bungie released yesterday, they emphasized the tricks that you could do in Halo 3: Ghost merging, floating objects, etc. are made part of the controls! By the way, the monitor is back!

A few Bungie weekly updates ago, Bungie released some armory customizations, but blurred out the rest. The * marks things that were not in the beta.

Bungie leaks new medals and some achievements.

A few days ago, Bungie leaked a few achievements and medals. One thing I noticed when I was looking at the achievements is that the campaign shield has one sward instead of just a shield. The legendary shield looks like the one from ODST. A new medal that Bungie leaked is the 'Rejection' medal. You get this medal when you armor-lock and survive damage that would have killed you. The second medal is called 'Protector.' The way you get this medal is by saving a team-mate by killing his foe. The final medal that Bungie leaked is called 'Showstopper'. To get this medal, you have to kill an opponent while they are preforming an assassination.

Bungie Day Update

About 1 hour ago, Bungie announced that today, just today, they will be giving out flames for your armor. I'm not sure if recon comes with the deal, but you do get flames for Bungie day.

Well, it's Bungie day today! Get ready for action packed, super Bungie fun! I'll keep you posted all day long with the latest Bungie day news. Now, this morning, on Bungie.net, they showed the new Red vs. Blue which shows off tons of new Halo Reach stuff. You can watch it here. Now that you have the link, I can tell you my analysis.

1. The new hornet at 1:26
2. Remake of Blood Gulch from the first Halo
3. New assassination technique at 2:26
4. Two new warthogs at 2:41
5. New armor ability - Holograph at 3:28
6. Ok, this part is very contrivesial. At 4:25 sarge appears to be flying with the flag. If you look closely at 4:35, you can see his shotgun out with the flag. This means that flying with the flag is either fake or the shotgun is a glitch.
Can't wait to see what comes next!

Team Throwback is LIVE!

The double EXP play list, Team throwback, has begun for the next four days. It features Multi-Flag CTF, One-Flag CTF, and some others. It's usually filled with newbies, so the competition is anything but fierce. Get on if you don't want to get owned!

Prepare to Drop playlist is live!

A few days ago bungie flipped the switch for the Double EXP weekend playlist, Prepare to drop. It's a mix of slayer aand VIP. Headshots will kill the fastest, so don't use your SMG. Health is lower, so one grenade kills you. Carbines are one of the other helpful items you can find areound the maps while playing Prepare to Drop. Better than your magnum by a mile. Enjoy!

Beta was a blast, now the wait for a couple months.

Three More Days until Halo Reach

Only 6 more days until Halo rech beta.

I'm exited (as many of you are) about the new Halo game coming out September 1st 2010. The milti-player beta will come out on May 3rd and there will be plenty of glitches to come with it. Now, if you're reading this blog and saying: "How do I get the beta though?" The beta will come up on your Halo 3: ODST disc. Now I'll admit, Halo 3: ODST wasn't bungie's most succesful Halo game.
Reach is supposed to be the finale in the Halo series. When you watch the credits in the Halo 3 game all the way to the end without pushing any buttons there is a video that shows Master-Chief Floating around in space... ALIVE!!! I don't know if that means that there will be a Halo 4.
Anyways, the reach countdown will happen here on my blog.
